My two little kiddos are both in school this year! They both had their first days on September 7, 2010. It's been so fun having them both in school and they love to compare what they were taught. Unfortunately, they only overlap each other 15 minutes! So, Cartr and I sit in the car outside for 15 minutes and play.
Amilya, as we are working on spelling her name this year, goes two times a week. She has so many friends in school that she hates to come home and nags me until it's time for her to leave. She remembers everything she learns in school and talks non stop about it when she gets in the car. She has grown so much, I can't believe she's in school!
Brejden is learning how to spell his last name this year, poor kid. Unfortunately, he still doesn't get his first name right. He spells is Brjeden (with the 'J' backwards)! He has quite a few friends in his class and is so excited to see them. He gets to go three days a week and loves it. He told me he wasn't excited to go to school this year, but he is for next year because he'll be in the BIG school. He does love his teachers, Miss Kristen and Miss Bree. He learns so much, although he promptly forgets it as soon as he steps foot out of the classroom. Every time I ask him how school was, he says "I don't know." But he does remember what friends he played with and what they said. Oh well...My oh my, when did I get old enough to have two kids in school?!
