McArthur Family Reunion 2010

We had our family reunion this last weekend. One thing's for sure, our family has certainly grown! We had such a fun and crazy busy time.

Thursday we went to the splash pad on Main Street in St. George and let the kids go wild. Todd and Michelle (my brother in law and sister in law) were down for the week, so our kids got to spend some time together. Megan and her kids came and Aunt Gwen. Brejden slipped on the wet cement and ended up with road rash on his side where his ribs stick out.

Friday we spent the day in Pine Valley with quite a few of the McArthur cousins. We sure missed the ones that weren't able to make it! Brejden also turfed it in the rocks while chasing a lizard. He scraped up his leg pretty good, and missed the lizard! We had a lot of activities and spent a lot of time chatting. We had such a great time! We were loading up to go home, and I thought someone else had put Mily in the Excursion and didn't check to see if she was in with us. We got a ways down the hill, and I thought she must have fallen asleep because she was being so quiet. I turned around and realized her car seat was empty! I was laughing so hard, I was crying. Tia suggested we quietly go in and get her and then hopefully no one would know that we had left her. We pulled up and Jordanne brought her out and Mily yells "You guys forgot me! You left me here with Jordy!" so, in case someone hadn't known, they did now! She was at least laughing about it! Dad said I left my Mother of the Year award there too...

Saturday, Brejden was playing out back at Dad's when he fell through a hole in the trailer (he's not supposed to play on the trailer and he knew it). He scraped up his leg from his knee up to his hip. It bruised pretty good and he got a few slivers in his arm. Poor kid looks like he's been through the wringer!

It was a fun day, I'm happy to be home where it's not so hot! We had such a good time seeing our family!
