Our First Christmas Tree!

We got our first Christmas tree this year! It is a first tree for all of us! It's not often that you get a first for a whole family! In all of our years of marriage (7 1/2 years) , we have never had a Christmas tree! Zorn and I have been proud of being grinches in the past, but now that we have kids that care, we figured we'd give in and decorate.
We went up into the mountains here in Beaver and found a couple that we liked. Zorn cut the tree down with a little hatchet. It was quite the sight! The kids and I watched from a safe distance, although it was too far for Brejden's liking. He wanted to be right there on the frozen stream and by where the tree would fall. The kids had such a fun time watching him cut it down and drag it up the hill to the truck. We will be making this a yearly thing for our family. Let the traditions begin!
As you celebrate Christmas this year, we hope that you remember the true meaning of it. Christ has done so much for us. We love you all and are grateful for how blessed we are to have you in our lives. Merry Christmas!

Cartr Edwin

Cartr Edwin, born on December 3, 2009 at 2:14 a.m., weighing 6 lbs 5 oz.
He is my smallest baby yet, but I'm okay with it!
We are so happy to have him here! I'm so happy to not be pregnant anymore!
I am thankful for my Dad and Tia (and all the girls) for letting the kids and I stay with them for two weeks. It was so nice being in St. George for the birth!
Tia and Zorn were both with me for the delivery, although Tia and I were a little nervous Zorn wouldn't make it in time. Tia was a rock through the labor and was such a trooper staying awake and calm through it all. I am so thankful that Tia was able to be there with me. I'm also thankful that Zorn was there also. He didn't annoy me at all, he really worked hard at it! I'm glad Cartr is here and that he is healthy. What a great way to start the Christmas holiday!
