We got our first Christmas tree this year! It is a first tree for all of us! It's not often that you get a first for a whole family! In all of our years of marriage (7 1/2 years) , we have never had a Christmas tree! Zorn and I have been proud of being grinches in the past, but now that we have kids that care, we figured we'd give in and decorate.We went up into the mountains here in Beaver and found a couple that we liked. Zorn cut the tree down with a little hatchet. It was quite the sight! The kids and I watched from a safe distance, although it was too far for Brejden's liking. He wanted to be right there on the frozen stream and by where the tree would fall. The kids had such a fun time watching him cut it down and drag it up the hill to the truck. We will be making this a yearly thing for our family. Let the traditions begin!
